Our Funding
The first TTCF fund is wholly supported by AustralianSuper - one of the largest industry superannuation funds in Australia, with more than 1.5 million members drawn from over 130,000 workplaces and $37 billion in funds under management. The TTCF would like to acknowledge AustralianSuper for its support.
AustralianSuper is involved in pre-seed and seed investments through UniSeed and the Medical Research Commercialisation Fund, which provide an opportunity for investment return through a preferred access to a stream of quality venture investment opportunities from world-class academic and clinical research institutions.
The TTCF is also an approved Fund Manager for the New Zealand Venture Investment Fund (NZVIF) from its Seed co-Investment Fund (SCIF). NZVIF has committed NZ$4 million in partnership with TTCF for technologies emanating from the University of Auckland. The TTCF would like to acknowledge NZVIF for its support.
Syndication and Follow on Funding
The looks to syndicate with other funds in its investments. The Investment Managers have established relationships with potential investment syndicate members and follow- on fund providers. Participation from other capital investors is encouraged.
TTCF welcomes interest from sophisticated investors looking to be involved in the co-investment or follow-on funding of early-stage investment opportunities. Trans Tasman Fund Management Pty. Ltd. operate under Australian Financial Services License (AFSL) number 390102.
